When I watched your voice thread, I could tell it was very well-organized and I could also tell what your thought process was as you analyzed the poem in your voice thread and I liked the way you walked the listener through the poem. I found your interpretation of the title very interesting and how you read it as a play of the words ‘honest man’. You clearly stated what you thought the poem was about and what your theme was. You supported your arguments and theme well by using text from the poem to relate to your theme. I think you can improve your analysis by analyzing poetic devices to further support your argument. You briefly discussed metaphors and personification, but I think you can go even further. Overall, your analysis was clear, organized, and insightful. Great job!
