CORE VALUES AWARD
The Board of Trustees would like to congratulate the three recipients of the Core Values Award. The Board confer up to three awards annually for exceptional and varied service to the CAC community. The criteria for the awards are based on the CAC Core Values. Excluding current Board members, all CAC community members are eligible to be considered for the award.
Congratulations to the Recipients of the 2020 Core Values Award
Carmen Allison arrived with her family in 2018. She has three kids attending CAC, Paige, Chloe and Audrey. Carmen is a very courteous and active member of the CAC community who volunteers numerous hours supporting CAC athletes and manning the Booster Club concession stand.
Carmen is the volunteer chaperone with JV swim team and had traveled with the team to Athens during 2018-2019 school year.
Moreover, she is the Booster Club President and manages the spirit store and concession stand which is a huge job, with the stand open once per week as well as multiple days during tournament events here at CAC. Carmen puts in countless hours to manage the spirit store and the concession stand operations – including ordering, purchasing and receiving all necessary food and clothing items. She also works with other Booster Club members to offer multiple varieties of cookies, baked goods, and specialty items to serve the CAC community and multiple visitors and to provide food service during school events.
Courtney Bailey joined CAC in July 2011 as the MS Assistant Principal and became the MS Principal in July 2014. Courtney has been in Cairo and with CAC for the past 9 years.
He is a very active and compassionate member of the community, promotes healthy lifestyle, as well as social and emotional wellness. Courtney participated in the creation of the CAC core values. He lives by them and demonstrates them in his day to day dealing. He is seen welcoming and engaging with students and staff every morning in a pleasant and friendly manner. Courtney spends numerous hours on campus and is very much involved in all the activities and events. He is witnessed on campus very early in the morning and also late in the evening.
Courtney is highly respected and valued by all who know and deal with him.
Nadia Rashad has been with CAC since August 1987 (33 years). She worked in various functions over the years mostly as the ES Activities Coordinator and the Campus Supervisor. Although Nadia officially retired in 2009, she was asked to continue with CAC in the role of Campus Supervisor.
Nadia is known for her pleasant and cheerful nature supporting everyone in a friendly and positive manner. She is very energetic and has an eye for safety. Nadia is very well known and appreciated among the CAC and Maadi community whether current or former students, faculty, staff and parents.
Nadia looks out for the safety and welfare of our students while on campus. She monitors student behavior and maintains a safe and positive environment.
