To be able to clearly read and transfer your beautiful poem, It is extremely important to consider these tips:

  1.  Firstly when you receive the poem, You’re gonna want to observe the poem’s length and title and just breifly get to know it. Then, one way or another, you’re gonna begin reading aloud and allowing the the sounds of the words to process through your brain. Your ear will pick up more than your head will allow.
  2.  Then you are gonna want to start a conversation with the poem and then feel the words.
  3.  Make sure that you acknowledge “A poem has no hidden meaning, only “meanings” you’ve not yet realized are right in front of you. “
  4.  “Try to connect with the poem on its terms not yours. If you have to “relate” to a poem in order to understand it, you aren’t doing it correctly.”
  5.  “Perform marginalia. Reading without writing in the margins is like walking without moving your arms.” It is detrimental to read and write at the same time as you’re writing with your first instinct.
  6. “Lines are often determined by meaning, sound and rhythm, breath, or typography. Poets may use several of these elements at the same time.” The lines separate one text from the other.
  7. Identify whether or not the poem is an accessible poem or an obscure poem.

How does Mildred symbolize all that is wrong with the current society?

I believe that Mildred symbolizes all that is wrong in society because she portrays herself as a shallow and meaningless character. In the book, she is constantly ignoring any questions Montag is feeding her as well as having an obsession with the TV. Television has replaced the common perception of family. She is so infatuated with her parlor wall television shows that she refers to them as her “family.” She’s portrayed to sit and absorb instead of talk, question, and think.
