CAC High School Principal’s Notes
Thank you for reading this week’s Highro-Glyphics!
Greetings on a rainy Thursday afternoon. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it for Parent/Teacher Conferences this week. We hope your conversations with teachers were informative and productive.
Principal’s Notes Highlights:

● Skyward opening
● Spring Break
● Campus Access
● Second Semester Exams
E-Learning Test
Thanks to everyone who was able to participate in our e-learning test today. Teachers reported that participation was high, and anecdotal real-time feedback from students was positive. We do know that students may have had issues with power and connectivity today, as did those teachers who had to work from home. We appreciate the effort and flexibility everyone demonstrated. Please do make sure your student completes the feedback form sent by the Technology Department.
Skyward Opening
The gradebook section of Family Access on Skyward will be open Thursday, March 19 after school. As always, students are encouraged to speak with their teachers face-to-face about progress and academic performance.
Spring Break
Spring Break is almost here! There will be no classes from March 20-28. We hope everyone has a safe and rejuvenating break. Classes resume March 29.
Campus Access

We have lots of new titles in ebook or digital audio format available through the Sora app. Titles range from romance novels to mysteries, parenting books and professional reading for educators. There’s a book for every taste.
Here is a quick video tutorial for using Sora and here it is as a pdf. Just note that when you are asked for your Follett account the first time you access Sora, that just means your CAC Single Sign On. If you need help, please stop by the library. Mrs. Fitzgerald is always happy to introduce you to the delights of e-reading. Don’t forget, listening to an audiobook also counts as reading.
