Highro Glyphics Newsletter Week of February 4, 2021

CAC High School Principal’s Notes

Dear High School Parents,

Thanks for reading this week’s edition of Highro-Glyphics!

What a wonderful thing it is to have all the students on campus! With everyone outdoors at lunch, that is a busy and lively time of day, with students enjoying the sunshine and open spaces of our beautiful campus. (Thankfully, the rain held off long enough this afternoon for us to enjoy lunch.)

In a year that has been far from normal, it has been great to see some sense of normalcy restored for students and staff alike. This week, we resumed our regular 8-day rotation. The Counseling Department hosted its University Application Kickoff for juniors and their parents. University acceptances continued to roll in for seniors. IB Diploma students were introduced to the process of the Extended Essay. Next week, we will resume some of our after school conditioning programs and activities. We will also start the course registration process for 2021-22.

Thank you to the Booster Club for welcoming the tenth grade back to campus with a special treat, for showing appreciation to faculty with great food and spirit wear during our Faculty Wellbeing Tuesday, and for their continued positivity and support throughout this year.

Have a great week, and stay safe!
