CAC High School Principal’s Notes

If you were on campus for the Spring Music Festival yesterday, you would no doubt agree with me that it was a truly wonderful experience. The show was slick and professional and highlighted the wealth of musical talent we have here at CAC! Stunning performances and a great festival atmosphere. Well done indeed to all our student musicians and congratulations to music teachers Ian McCuaig and Alex Dzamashvili.

Take a break this long weekend

Students work hard and this can be an exhausting time of year. All students are encouraged to balance their working commitments with some downtime this upcoming long weekend. You can support your child by helping them to divide their time between schoolwork, socializing with friends, family time and self-care. Being balanced in this way is an important step toward feeling healthy and positive about their working commitments while maintaining their overall well-being.

To help you with this, the Skyward Gradebook will be open this week from Thursday 14 April until Wednesday, 20 April. This will give you a longer opportunity for checking your child’s progress and having conversations at home as we begin to approach the end of the semester, avoiding the need to have this conversation at the weekend if you prefer not to.

Dates for your Diary
• Sun 17 April: Western Easter Holiday (no school)
• April 20: Eco-Fair on campus 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
• April 21: Last day of classes for IB Seniors.

• April 28: IB exams start
• May 1: Labor Day holiday (no school)
