CAC High School Principal’s Notes

HS Production – Arabian Nights – Coming Next Week!

It’s the wedding night in the palace of King Shahrayar. By morning, the new queen, Shahrazad, is to be put to death like a thousand and one young brides before her. But, Shahrazad has the one gift that can save her: the gift of storytelling. With a mischievous imagination and silver tongue, she begins to paint a dazzling array of stories and characters, summoned forth from strange and magical worlds populated by giant snakes, bloodthirsty thieves and cunning maids. Can the power of storytelling save her life?

The talented HS Theatre ensemble have taken on this challenging and imaginative story for you to enjoy. Join us to witness the stage version of this well known work – Alf Layla w Layla – ألف ليلة و ليلة

February 19th and 20th @ 6.00
February 21st @ 2pm.

The year’s Graduation Countdown has begun!

108 days to Graduation!

Our senior students have begun thinking about graduation in earnest this week. They have been gathering for their cap and gown headshots, which will appear in this year’s yearbook. Additionally, the traditional graduation countdown has started. This week marks 108 days remaining until graduation, and as usual, the students are celebrating with the baby photo countdown displayed in the high school lobby.

Seniors Valentine’s Brunch

Also for our senior students today, we were grateful once again that the senior parents group organized a wonderful lunchtime celebration for Valentine’s Day. The seniors are truly enjoying every moment of this momentous final year of school for them, and we are happy to join them in their journey and celebrations.
