CAC High School Principal’s Notes
Today is an unusual day as I write this week’s edition of Highro-glyphics in my very quiet office with the school being closed today. CAC always prioritizes student safety and, therefore, the decision was taken to cancel classes. Today’s IB exams have also been postponed. We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate the support and patience of our community as we worked with the IB organization to reschedule the exams.
Enjoy the photos of our high school and middle school students collaborating with students from the African Hope School. This wonderful service project, led by two teachers: Ms Jenny Kramer and Mr. Jorge Villafuerte, has been successfully running for a couple of years. Each week, students from African Hope come to the CAC campus to engage in various activities with our students. This initiative exemplifies how CAC encourages students to be community-minded by sharing their time, energy, and enthusiasm, enabling the students from African Hope School to enjoy activities they might not otherwise have access to.
With this week being shorter than expected, I will keep today’s newsletter brief. There are many exciting events to look forward to in the coming weeks, so please check the highlights at the end of this note to mark your calendar.
We are all looking forward to the long weekend and ahead to welcoming everyone back on campus on Sunday. Regarding the HS calendar days, please note that Sunday will remain an A day as scheduled. Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe during the expected weather today.
