CAC High School Principal’s Notes
Last Friday, we held a fantastic graduation ceremony once again at the pyramids. This marked the 77th graduation year for CAC. Even after all this time, the majesty of the event has not faded—it truly is a fittingly impressive location to celebrate the graduation of such an impressive group of students. We are very proud of our seniors and we wish the Class of ’25 all the very best as they embark on their educational journeys beyond CAC.
Back on campus, exams are approaching their final couple of days. For most students, tomorrow (Monday 2 June) will be the last formal day of exams with the following Tuesday (3rd) being set aside for students who missed exams or had conflicts in their schedule to make up exams on a case-by-case basis. Wednesday 4th June is the last day of school for everyone, with attendance expected for all.
On this last day, students will cycle through all of their classes to receive their semester two exam grades, and receive feedback on their exam performance as well as final closing activities in non-exam classes. The day begins and ends with celebratory assemblies where we bid farewell to departing faculty and students. This formal closure to the end of the year is highly beneficial for all students and we eagerly await the presence of everyone on Tuesday. Dismissal is scheduled for 11:30 on that final day of school.
In the meantime, here’s hoping your child’s exams are going well and they are managing to balance the heavy academic demands of studying for and taking exams with some relaxation and recharging in between. The holiday will soon be upon us all!
Upcoming dates:
2 June – exams continue to Grade 9-11
3 June – Make up exams day
4 June – Last day of school for all students. 11:30 dismissal.

From the MS/HS Library
Dear High School Students, Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to remind you that all library and HS materials, including English books, were due back by Sunday, May 18th. HS Textbooks were due back by May 29th.
All books should be returned to the MHS Library and not directly to teachers.
If your child has overdue materials, you will have been receiving weekly email notices listing the specific items that need to be returned. As the deadline approaches, these notices will become daily reminders. Please review these emails carefully—they include a full list of any outstanding items.
If any books have been lost, please contact the librarians directly to request an invoice. You will then take the invoice to the CAC cashier, make the payment, and return the stamped receipt to the library as proof of payment. Only once we have received this receipt will your child’s account be cleared.
Please note that if materials were not returned or paid for by May 29th, your Skyward account will be blocked. This means:
• You will not be able to access your child’s report card at the end of the school year.
• If the account remains blocked into the summer, you will not be able to access student schedules at the start of the next school year.
We strongly encourage you to take action now to avoid any disruption. If you have questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us by email.
Thank you for your cooperation and support!
Warm regards,
Meghan Ennis
