Collaborative Work in Math Class

Global Politics Class
An exciting weekend is coming up on campus as we host the NESAC Student Leadership Conference here at CAC. NESAC is a network of nine international schools across the Middle East, and seven schools will be participating in this year’s event. The conference will bring together student leaders from across the region to collaborate, learn, and develop their leadership skills. “Leadership today requires courage, adaptability, and connection. This year’s theme challenges student leaders to explore how building bridges across cultures, communities, and perspectives can create meaningful change.”
CAC is delighted to welcome these guest schools:
• American International School of Kuwait
• American School of Kuwait
• International College Beirut
• American Community School Beirut
• Duncrest American School
• American School Dhahran
To learn more about this event, you may visit the NESAC event website HERE.

Students in our Visual Art courses enjoyed a wonderful field trip this week. The group traveled to the Pyramids of Giza to view the Forever Is Now art installation. This exhibit features large, site-specific open-air artworks inspired by the setting of the Great Pyramids. The students took a guided tour of the site, observed the artworks, and met with some of the artists. Excursions such as this deepen and enrich the curriculum by allowing students to engage firsthand with artists and their artworks in the field. Thank you to Ms. Isabel Torres for organizing this experience for our student artists.

Students wrote about and documented the individual art pieces

Students toured the “Doors of Time” with the Pyramids as the backdrop
Finally, it was wonderful to welcome parents to the HS Coffee Morning on Wednesday. We explored the topic of exams and ways that parents can support their children during this potentially challenging period of the school year. You will find a link to the slides shared here.
