CAC High School Principal’s Notes
Dear High School Parents,
Thanks for reading this week’s edition of Highro-Glyphics!
It was wonderful to have our students back to campus this week. Next week we will proceed with our High School Second Semester Reopening plan and welcome the ninth graders to campus for face-to-face classes on all school days. We are hopeful that grade 10 students will join them on campus full time on January 31.
To augment our stacked mitigation measures, we have made several changes to our outdoor seating arrangements so that students can enjoy breaks and lunch while maintaining improved social distancing. It is taking some time for students to coordinate signing up with their friends to enjoy lunch in the High School Garden, but they will eventually settle into the new routine. They have made particularly good use of the rugs on the lawn, as well as new tables set up near Coffee Bean. Certainly the bean bags have been an immediate hit.
Thanks to those parents who were able to attend this week’s Virtual Coffee. Please check this newsletter weekly for announcements regarding future coffees.
Have a great week, and stay safe!

Seniors
1. Please remind your 12th grader to check their individual application web sites to see the status of the applications. They should let the counselors know as the universities reply with decisions.
2. Mid Year Reports. Universities may ask seniors to submit mid year transcripts. These will be sent to universities by the end of January (for universities on MAIA), once Skyward is updated with first semester grades. Students will also receive a PDF copy to forward on to the universities that are requiring students to upload documents on their own.
