Student Leaders at NESAC
This past weekend, CAC proudly hosted the NESAC Student Leadership Conference—and it was a tremendous success. Seven international schools from across the Middle East joined us on campus for three days of collaboration, learning, and connection.
Throughout the conference, student leaders engaged in workshops, discussions, and team challenges designed to strengthen their leadership skills. Guided by this year’s theme: “Leadership today requires courage, adaptability, and connection”—participants explored how building bridges across cultures, communities, and perspectives can inspire meaningful change in their schools and beyond.
We are incredibly proud of our students for representing CAC with enthusiasm, openness, and a commitment to learning. A special thank you goes to all the faculty, parents, and students who volunteered their time and energy to support the event in so many ways—your contributions helped made the conference an outstanding experience for all.
Spirit Week
Excitement is in the air as our annual Spirit Week approaches! With daily themed activities and events taking place next week, students will have the chance to create lasting memories together.
Spirit Week is about fostering a strong sense of community and belonging within our school. Through various fun and engaging activities, students will explore how school spirit can unite us, build lasting connections, and create a positive, inclusive environment. By focusing on teamwork, kindness, and school pride, we aim to strengthen the bonds between students, helping everyone feel valued and supported. Spirit Week is not just about competition—it’s about coming together as one community. We encourage all students to get involved and make this a memorable celebration of our school!
Semester 1 Exams
Semester 1 Exam Week is fast approaching: December 14th to 18th. The 2025 S1 Exam Schedule shows the daily schedule of all high school exams. Please read this in detail to gain a clear understanding of what the last week of school will look like.
Also, take a moment and review the following points to familiarize yourself with the exam procedures before arriving.
Arrival Times: Give yourself time to locate your examination room and be prepared to start your exams on time. Exam locations will be posted at the entrances of the building. Food venues on campus will operate at their regular times throughout the day. Students may remain on campus after exams.
• Morning Exams: Arrive on campus by 8:25 AM.
• Afternoon Exams: Arrive on campus by 12:40 pm.
The library will be open all day for studying, and the Reading Room & Study Rooms will be available from 7:30 – 8:25 am, 11:15 – 12:40 pm, and 3:00 – 5:00 pm.
Flexible Campus Access: Students are only required to attend school for their exams. Students with off-campus lunch privileges are allowed to leave school early after their last exam. Parents of students without off-campus privileges can email the HS school office to request early dismissal for the week.
Attendance Reminder: Examination timings are fixed and set by the HS Administration. Changes to the examination schedule on an individual basis will only occur under very specific circumstances, such as travel related to visa issues, sudden illness, or family emergencies. Official medical documentation is required to approve any medical absence.
Please be reminded that students who miss an exam without appropriate documentation will not receive a grade for that exam and will not be eligible to re-take the exam.
If you have any questions or need to contact the Assistant Principal, Adam Smee, email him at asmee@cacegypt.org

Week of November 20, 2025
Sessions with Juniors held this week: Counselors met with juniors this past week to go over the PSAT results, which is a useful data point to research universities that may be a good match, particularly in the US. Juniors are encouraged to review the SAT and ACT dates for next spring in order to plan on taking the actual test that may be used in their universities applications next fall. Juniors were also introduced to Unifrog, the new software platform for college and career research (replacing MAIA Learning). Juniors took a career exploration survey and started a long list of possible careers and universities around the globe that offer majors they may be interested in pursuing. We will convene again early next semester to continue the deep dive into college and career research and exploration.

Looking forward to welcoming you all to the Theater!

The Annual General Services Staff (GSS) Appreciation Lunch
The GSS Appreciation Lunch has been a cherished CAC tradition since 2013, bringing our entire CAC community together around Thanksgiving to celebrate and thank our incredible GSS teams. This compassionate initiative was started by an ES student, Han Byul Lee, who is now a proud alumna of the Class of 2020. Over the years, this event has continued to grow through the collective generosity of our CAC community.
The GSS Teams are: our security guards, janitors, gardeners, bus monitors, drivers, car washers, electricians, painters, carpenters, and food vendors—All dedicated and hardworking members who keep CAC running smoothly every single day
On this special day, we distribute meals with the generous support of our CAC community. The annual GSS Appreciation Lunch is a meaningful opportunity to give back to these essential team members and their families.
You can contribute by donating cash to purchase a Family Meal (costs around 1500 EGP, including desserts and drinks). A Donation Box is available in the Welcome Center, and another one is next to Greco.
Everyone is welcome to sign up to help distribute the meals in person to the GSS. A simple “Shukran” means the world: SIGN UP HERE
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and continued support in honoring those who do so much for our community!
