Middle School Principal’s Letter

Dear Parents,

Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s version of the News and Views. We are about to go off and enjoy a much-needed Spring Break. The participation in Spirit Week brought a high level of energy back to our campus. The students ended the week with some pizza and ice-cream treats. It was great seeing children laughing and having a good time with each other.

We have recently had several parents in our community who have contracted the COVID – 19 virus. Therefore I am asking you to be extra vigilant during the break to follow the mitigation protocols we practice at school. We would like to have all students return from holiday to face-to-face learning. If your child has to quarantine after the break, they will be required to access the class learning agenda and complete all work. Students will be responsible for work that isn’t finished; when they return to school.

We wish everyone a safe and relaxing Spring Break.

The students in Mix-media created the following pieces of artwork with an inspirational quote

In Arabic, the seventh-graders asked the essential question: What if we all took the same road? Students were exploring the beauty in each culture and the influence it has on us. One planet Different World was the title of the students’ presentations. The celebration was through asking the guests “school community members” questions that show cultural understanding Culture Presentations – In Arabic class.

Glances From Spirit Week:

Thank you for your continuous support of the middle school.

In Partnership,

Courtney Bailey
Middle School Principal
