Middle School Principal’s Letter

Dear Parents,

Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s version of the News and Views; as we come to the end of Semester one, it’s hard to imagine I am saying those words already. I want to thank you for a successful semester. We wouldn’t have made it through without your support and the outstanding teachers we are blessed within the division.

We have collected laptops. However, we have asked students to keep their chargers. We hope that you will be able to spend quality time with your child without the technology.

The grade six students surpassed their goal and collected 40,000LE. We are proud of them and all they have accomplished to prepare enough gift bags for the African Hope Students. As a result of their efforts, there were many happy children. Thanks to CAC Community.

It was a fun last day for our students.

I want to wish everyone a safe and restful holiday and a Happy New Year. We are looking forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Thank you for your continuous support of the middle school.

In Partnership,
Courtney Bailey
The Middle School Principal

World Scholar’s Cup 2022
Are you interested in global issues and current events?
Do you enjoy debate or public speaking?
Are you ready to face the alpacalypse?

If you answered YES, we NEED YOU for this year’s World Scholar’s Cup program.

The World Scholar’s Cup is a fun, challenging and competitive international program for students who enjoy being stretched and pushed out of their comfort zone. Each year, the World Scholar’s Cup is organized around a single interdisciplinary theme. Students use this theme to learn more about global issues from Science, Social Studies, the Arts, Literature, History and Current Affairs. During the competition, students work in teams of three to demonstrate their knowledge through debate, writing, and quizzes. This course will prepare students for competing in the Cairo Regional Round and beyond.

Website: http://scholarscup.org/

The World Scholar’s Cup will meet on Sundays after winter break, in MS115.

Sign up by completing this form, or email Ms Selena with any questions – sgallagher@cacegypt.org
