Middle School Principal’s Letter
Dear Parents,
Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s version of the News and Views. It was another busy week of exploring, learning, and of course, fun!
We are getting ready to go off into a long weekend in observance of Coptic Easter. When you add that to the national holiday on Monday (Sinai Liberation Day and Sham El Nessim) we have a nice four-day weekend. Wishing everyone an enjoyable break!
On Monday and Tuesday, the 8th-graders did their TED Talks on a variety of topics such as Climate Change, the Environment, and DEI to name a few. Our students are confident in who they are and that is clear to see when they are presenting on stage. They continue to make us proud.

The students did MAP testing on Wednesday and gave their best efforts. Thank you to the teachers who proctored the tests. I want to also thank Ms. Kamel, and Mr. Iskander from the IT department for their support as well.
In recognition of Earth Day, the 7th graders organized the following events; Race to Clean the Air – Amazing Race! Thank you to Ms. Tegenfeldt, for leading the Earth Day activity and to Ms.Fides and Mr. Said for leading the neighborhood cleanups. Thanks to Ms.Harouny, and Ms. Spencer for leading 6th grade; Ms. Genidy and Mr. Harris for leading the 8th-grade group. In addition, we want to thank Engy, Karim, and Shaggy for their support along with our security guards.

Thank you for your continuous support of the middle school.
In Partnership,
Courtney Bailey
The Middle School Principal
