Middle School Principal’s Letter

Dear Parents,

Thank you for reading this week’s version of the News and Views. We trust that you had some rest during the Eid break, and now you are ready for the final four weeks of school.

We had a solid week of teaching and learning, and students are preparing for summative assessments in the upcoming weeks. We ask that you support your child by ensuring they get sufficient rest and are studying at home.

We will be returning to face to face Student-Led conference this year. The SLC will take place on Tuesday, May 24th. In essence, the student-led conference is seen as a reflection on the students’ learning. Students reflect on the work they present, the lessons that were taught, their understanding of those lessons, and how well they are able to express their knowledge to their parents during the conference. This event is mandatory for all parents. If you can’t make it, please let us know, and we will arrange for a faculty member to be there for your child to share their learning after thoughtful reflection.

We want to thank the seventh-graders for their enthusiasm and dedication to Race to Clean the Air this year!
