Middle School Principal’s Letter

Dear Parents,

Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s version of the News and Views. It was, as usual, a busy and fun week in middle school!

We want to thank the PTO and parents who participated in the International Festival Day last Friday. It was great to have the event back on campus and see the CAC community in full bloom. Kudos to Tatiana Foda for spearheading the event and bringing it back!

The art auction is over, and now it is time to collect your art pieces. Please come by the MS office and get the painting by next Wednesday before the end of the school year. We want to thank you for your support of this fundraising event.

In the final Financial Literacy of the year, we had a guest speaker Mr. Alhamd Alkhayat, speak to the class about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. It was an opportunity for the students to understand how blockchain technology works.

The 7th graders in Math class created a Probability Project and invited the 4th graders to come over and play the game. The 7th-grade students had a great time showcasing their understanding of Probability.

As we prepare to enjoy the summer holiday, we encourage you to check out a few books. We encourage all our students to read daily for 30 – 45 minutes. Studies have shown that the more you read, the better you learn. We want our students to enjoy the love of reading.

Thank you for your continuous support of the middle school.

In Partnership,
Courtney Bailey
The Middle School Principal

Senior Celebrations
The “Senior Show” being the favored theme for Spirit Week got us to think of making it the theme for yesterday as this is their “show” from start to finish as they graduate.
A special “Thank You” to Ms. Soha Kamel, Ms. Meghan Ennis and the community for their support in creating this fun video.

– Our Senior student Paula designed the 2022 logo and Seniors Adam, Jorge, Youssef, Sam, Catalina, and Andre and myself brainstormed and provided input for the design. Every number represents grade 9 to 12 Spirit Themes ….Funky Freshman, Double OO Sophomores, Juniors of the Jungle and Senior Show.

Note From The Health Office
Dear Parents,
If your student will be entering grade 9 next school year, we ask that she/he is seen and examined by a doctor, and a physical form completed and sent to the health office, on or before the first day of school in August.
We are more than happy to accept early completed physicals as of now, either by email or hand-delivered to security at the front gate.
