Middle School Principal’s Letter
Dear Parents,
Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s version of the News and Views. This was our first full week back to school. The students enjoy their freedom and carve out their space within the building.
We had over 40 new families join us this year, and I want to send out a special invite to new parents to join me next Tuesday morning for our New Parent Principal Coffee Morning. It will take place in MS 115 and will begin at 8:15 am.
‘Back To School Night’ (BTSN) will take place on Tuesday, August 30th, at 5:00 pm, where we will be using WebEx as our virtual platform for the online meetings.
Please be reminded that:
- You must sign in using your CAC account.
- Teachers will not give access to anyone using non-CAC email.
- If you don’t have one, contact mabdelhady@cacegypt.org and get all access info before the BTSN.

I will start with a big-picture overview of the new school year; afterward, each child’s parents will have a more intimate 10-15 minute advisory session with the advisory teachers.
The advisory teacher will share a link with you to access these meetings on Webex beforehand. Finally, parents can watch a short introductory video of their child’s teachers. We will share the links to these early next week.
We will begin our Fall athletics/activities season during the week of September 4th. We will start with intramural sports, volleyball, and flag football. We need your support to get as many students to participate as possible. Studies have shown that physical activity helps the child’s physical, mental, and social development during middle school, so we must encourage them to participate.

weekdays, 8:00am – 10:00am and 2:30pm – 4:00pm.

Please note that if your child is in grades 3, 6 or 9, a student physical examination must be completed by a physician.
The form is available on the CAC home page under Admissions->Apply Now-> Health Office/Student Medical Examination Form.

An Important Update From The Tech Department
Over the summer, we have switched our authentication server to our Google Apps. What does this mean?
Skyward & Library systems are now accepting login with the SSO, you just need to go to the dashboard and click on the icon to directly go into Skyward.
*Please delete your saved Skyward and library bookmarks from last year and log in using the dashboard.
