Middle School Principal’s Letter
Dear Parents,
Thank you for reading this week’s version of the News and Views. It was an emotional and challenging week for the CAC faculty. It is heart-warming and reassuring to see the community pulling together to provide comfort and support for one another during this difficult and sad time.
The students had a busy week with summative assessments and presentations taking place.
The winter break is finally here, and I wish everyone a peaceful and restful holiday.
The grade 6 students and teachers exceeded their fundraising goal to support African Hope School. Here is what they had to share with our students. Thank You, CAC – Grade 6.
I want to thank Mr. Jorge and his Financial Literacy class, who went on a field trip to the Total Academy to learn about energy sources.
We hope you took advantage of the book fair on campus last week. The day ended with a winter bazaar.
Thank you for your continuous support of the middle school.
In Partnership,
Courtney Bailey
The Middle School Principal

Bring Out the Best in Yourself, Your Child and Your Home
Continue to develop community practices within the home to increase your confidence as a parent and develop a plan for those (inevitable) challenging times. Learn practical tools and habits that anyone – a caregiver or not – can apply to their lives.
This 4-part series will explore effective communication, child development, wellbeing, behavioral psychology, and positive parenting as a way to create an environment where children (and adults) are encouraged and engaged, and feel a sense of connection, value and belonging.
