Middle School Principal’s Letter
Dear Parents,
Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s version of the News and Views. It was a week of celebrations and recognition for our students.
Last Friday, our boy’s soccer team demonstrated perseverance and resilience during the CISSA MS Soccer tournament. The boys made it to the finals and finished in 2nd place. After defeating two of the best teams during the first round and in the semi-final match, they played a fantastic final game.
The boys learned how to deal with adversity and recognize the value of teamwork. The season was full of challenges, but they could reach their potential through hard work and dedication. Coaches Perez and Villafuerte will never forget this memorable season, which taught them responsibility and gave them courage. These are learnings to apply to other aspects of their lives. Congratulations, CAC MS Soccer team!
You will be receiving the second-semester Progress Reports – one on Skyward today. This a reminder to have a conversation with your child about their approaches to learning. If the student receives a Rarely, they will have a comment from their teacher explaining what they can do to improve as learners over the next six weeks. If the student is new to CAC, they will only receive a welcoming comment from their teachers.
We want to celebrate our Soaring Eagles winners in grades 6, 7, and 8.
We also want to recognize our talented artists and the tremendous work they produce in class.
The preparation for next week’s Spirit Week is done, and students look forward to a fun week. Kudos! To Ms. Torky, Ms. Spencer, Ms. Urbiztondo, and the STUCO students for organizing the event. It is a week that many students look forward to participating in, and I encourage you to support them in any way you can to make this time memorable.
Congratulations to Marwan Elnady for winning the Haas/Hansen Student Award.
Thank you for your continuous support of the middle school.
In Partnership,
Courtney Bailey
The Middle School Principal
