Middle School Principal’s Letter
Dear Parents,
Thank you for reading this week’s edition of News and Views. It has been a week of learning, exploring, and having fun.
We started the week with the STUCO speeches, and the students were impressive. Throughout the morning, the 27 students who ran for student council officers displayed our core values of courage, and it was good to see the audience demonstrating compassion. The students have voted, and here are the members of the 2024 STUCO officers.
In grade seven, Language Arts students learned vocabulary with a refresher on common and proper nouns. This was in preparation for their writing piece.
In art class, the students improved their skills in blending paint for their upcoming project.
In Design Technology, students were highly engaged in the workroom and creating prototypes on their laptops to create on the 3D printer.
This week, our teachers participated in professional development focused on creating inclusive classrooms that ensure equity for all students. As neurodiversity increases among students, our teachers must be equipped to meet the diverse needs of every student in their care.
Thank you for your continuous support of the middle school.
In Partnership,
Courtney Bailey
The Middle School Principal
