Middle School Principal’s Letter
Dear Parents,
Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s News and Views. We had a wonderful week of teaching and learning, and everyone seems to be recovering from all the excitement of Spirit Week.
We kicked off the week with an assembly focused on Ramadan, what it is, and how we support those who are fasting. We have made a dedicated space available for students who need to pray during the day.
I want to extend my gratitude to our STUCO students, as well as Ms. Genidy and Ms. Fides, for their incredible effort in preparing 196 Ramadan Boxes for our General Support Staff and the police officers who serve outside the walls of CAC. One of the pillars of this holy month is giving, and it’s inspiring to see our students and teachers embracing the spirit of generosity.
On Monday evening, we hosted the Dance Showcase on campus. Although we only had two middle school students participating, it was absolutely worth attending. From the costumes to the thematic elements to the phenomenal choreography, it was truly a showcase of exceptional talent.
Special congratulations go to our sixth-grade students and teachers. They surpassed their fundraising goal of 100,000 EGP, with an amount never before reached by a grade level with so few students in CAC’s 80-year history!
Our sixth-grade students also enjoyed a day at the GEMS Museum, where they explored, learned, and had fun. This visit provided the perfect capstone to their Mesopotamia museum project.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our Middle School.
In Partnership,
Courtney Bailey
The Middle School Principal

The recital will take place on Monday, April 28th in the CAC Theater from 6:00-7:30 PM.
If you are interested in participating, please complete the Piano Recital Sign-up Form and submit a one minute video audition by Wednesday, March 26th.
Who Can Audition: This recital is open to all students and teachers/staff members who play the piano.
We encourage a variety of musical styles and pieces, including duets and instrumental accompaniment, so let your creativity shine!
Important Guidelines:
-Your audition video just needs to be one minute, your actual performance should be no longer than 4 minutes.
-The audition piece is the one you plan on playing at the recital. Please include the name and composer of your piece.
-Ensure the video is clear, well-lit, and with good sound quality.
-Open to all grade levels and teachers/staff.
-Selection Process: A panel of teachers will review all submissions and will pick a few performers from each division. You will be notified by April 7 if you have been selected.
Selected performances will be featured in the recital, so be sure to give your best performance!
If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact Ms.Dolly Shalaby or Ms.Tai Torky.
