Middle School Principal’s Letter
Dear Parents,
Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s News and Views. It’s been a solid and productive week in the Middle School, with students engaging in summative assessments as we approach the end of the semester.
We were pleased to welcome many of you to campus on Tuesday for our Student-Led Conferences. These conferences are a powerful opportunity for your child to guide you through their learning journey and reflect on their accomplishments this year. While these conversations could happen at home, the classroom setting allows students to take ownership of the experience. They truly shine in that moment with your full attention and no distractions. This time is incredibly meaningful, and we thank you for being part of it.
Thank you to those who joined us for the Spring Festival of the Arts. It was a joyful and memorable evening! From the stunning artwork to the inspiring performances that brought the audience to its feet, the event truly celebrated student creativity. A special thanks to Mr. McCuaig for his vision and to Ms. Shalaby, Ms. Genidy, and Ms. Badr for their work in showcasing our students’ talents and supporting the event.
We’d also like to congratulate our boys’ and girls’ soccer teams for their outstanding performance in the recent CISSA tournament. Both teams finished second overall, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts and teamwork. Thank you to Coaches Villafuerte, Perez, Wafi, and Hany for their leadership and support.
Wishing our students a restful weekend and continued success as we wrap up the semester.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our Middle School.
In Partnership,
Courtney Bailey

MS End-of-Year Library & Textbook Return Reminder
Dear Middle School Students, Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to remind you that all library and MS books were due back on Sunday, May 18th.
All books should be returned to the MHS Library and not directly to teachers.
If your child has overdue materials, you will have been receiving weekly email notices listing the specific items that need to be returned. As the deadline approaches, these notices will become daily reminders. Please review these emails carefully—they include a full list of any outstanding items.
If any books have been lost, please contact the librarians directly to request an invoice. You will then take the invoice to the CAC cashier, make the payment, and return the stamped receipt to the library as proof of payment. Only once we have received this receipt will your child’s account be cleared.
Please note that if materials are not returned or paid for by May 25th, your Skyward account will be blocked. This means:
-You will not be able to access your child’s report card at the end of the school year.
-If the account remains blocked into the summer, you will not be able to access student schedules at the start of the next school year.
We strongly encourage you to take action now to avoid any disruption.
If you have questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us by email.
Thank you for your cooperation and support!
Warm regards,
Meghan Ennis
