Middle School Principal’s Letter
Dear Parents,
Thank you for reading this week’s version of the News and Views. It was a week of recovery for trip leaders, teachers and students.
The trip leaders Mr. Kasal, Mr. Vogel, and Mr. Storey were impressed with the behavior of the students. All the students I have spoken to have commented on how wonderful the trip was and how well behaved our students were. The six-graders were able to research in Luxor for their interdisciplinary units. The seventh-graders had the opportunity to swim with over 100 dolphins and turtles. While the eighth-graders formed new friendships during the trip. With over 100 students in grade-eight it was good to see the bonding that took place.
It is the week of Halloween and students were busy preparing the doors of their advisory classrooms for the decoration competition.
This year’s winner for the grade six is Ms. Harouny’s advisory
The grade-seven door decoration winner is Mr. Vogel’s advisory.

Finally, the grade eighth advisory door decoration winner is Ms. Genidy.

We will have the Halloween Social beginning at 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm., and we know students are planning what costumes they will wear. It will be an evening of good clean fun for the students.
This is a reminder that we will have parent-teacher conferences on November 10th and 12th. The conference on November 10th will be from 3:15 p.m to 5:30 p.m., and the conference on November 12th will be from 7:45 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. An email was sent out inviting you to sign-up for the conferences.
Thank you for your continuous support of the middle school.
In Partnership,
Courtney Bailey
