CAC High School Principal’s Notes

With a full week of semester 2 under our belts, the high school students jumped into new units of study with enthusiasm. Now that your students have received their semester 1 report cards, this weekend is an excellent opportunity to sit as a family, review teacher comments, and make goals for the 2nd semester.

Over the next week the CAC MUN team will participate in THIMUN, one of the world’s most prestigious model UN conferences, which is held annually at The Hague, Netherlands. We wish them a successful trip, and look forward to hearing more about their adventures upon their return next week.

CAC will observe the January 25th Revolution and Police Day Holiday on Thursday, January 25th. There will be no classes and practices on this day, in observance of this Egyptian national holiday. Classes will resume on Sunday, January 28th.

Booster Club needs your help!

As a community school, CAC offers numerous volunteering opportunities for the parent community. In fact, our vibrant school atmosphere relies on parent volunteerism, providing a fantastic way to be involved in school life and meet other people. One such organization that depends on parental support is the wonderful CAC Booster Club. The Booster Club not only operates the school Spirit Store but also supports various student, athletic, and activity initiatives, in addition to providing grants for travel opportunities for our students.

Currently, the Booster Club is in need of more parent volunteers and there are various ways to get involved, not just limited to working in the Booster Club Spirit Store. If you’re interested in learning more, please connect with the Booster Club using the email boosterclub@cacegypt.org.
