CAC High School Principal’s Notes

Parents engaged in learning at the coffee morning

It was wonderful to see so many parents at yesterday’s coffee morning. During the session, we delved into the aims and purposes of semester exams at CAC. In summary, the discussion focused on the following key topics:
• Aims and objectives of exams.
• Our approach to exams at CAC.
• The benefits of exams as a form of practice.
• How exams are graded and assessed.
• Strategies for supporting your child through the exam period.
• Student well-being and stress management.

You can access the presentation [here] and find a link to effective study skills resources that were shared during the session. I am eager to welcome parents back for our next coffee morning in the New Year.

Athletic Awards

Last night we celebrated our student athletes at the Season One Awards Night. The soccer, volleyball and cross country teams all took their turn on the stage and we learned about their trials and triumphs of the season from the coaches. As always, the depth of passion and talent was evident with coaches recounting stories of how our students performed on the field and how they truly exemplify our core values through their sporting endeavors on and off the field and courts.

On that day, we organize the packing of delivered meals relying on the generous contributions of the CAC community.
