Highro Glyphics Newsletter Week of December 14, 2023

CAC High School Principal’s Notes

As we approach the year-end, our students are gearing up for a well-deserved holiday break. We encourage them to take this time to unwind, connect with family, and indulge in activities they are passionate about. While some students may have pending tasks, striking a balance between responsibilities and the need to recharge is crucial, especially during this festive season.

The school will resume its regular schedule on Monday, January 8, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming our community back on that day. On January 15, we will be sharing the semester one report cards, providing you with valuable insights into your child’s academic progress.

As we bid farewell to this year, I extend heartfelt wishes for a joyful holiday season. If you have travel plans, please have a safe journey. Here’s to a splendid holiday and a New Year filled with happiness, peace, and prosperity.

From the PTO

What an incredible fall semester we have had! From the very first day of New Family Orientation to distributing Holiday Grams today, our PTO volunteers have been putting their time and thoughtfulness into nurturing our incredible community. Thank you to everyone who has gotten this year off to such a wonderful start.

We will be looking forward to seeing you all again and have some big events planned shortly after school resumes.

Our Health & Wellness Committee is working to bring an exciting day of family fun and fitness to our campus! We envision an event that encompasses the many dimensions of wellness and need volunteers to bring it to life. If this is a subject you’re passionate about and you’d like to have a role in this inaugural event, please join our Health & Wellness Committee WhatsApp group to get involved.

Coming up fast we will have one of our community’s signature events, the International Festival! We already have more than 20 countries signed up to host booths in the festival on February 16th. However, we know our community is composed of people from more than 50 different countries!! Make sure we all have a chance to celebrate your heritage by filling out this Google Form and joining our International Festival WhatsApp Group.

We wish you all a joyful winter break. #loveCACPTO
