CAC High School Principal’s Notes

Dear parents,

Today was the last regular school day for seniors before the start of IB Exams. They celebrated with a (mitigated) water fight in the afternoon. They managed to give yours truly a thorough soaking–it was actually quite refreshing! These students certainly deserved to have such a catharsis after the challenges they have faced and overcome the last 13 months. We wish them well on their exams.

This week the Spring Arts Festival swung into action, with delightful musical performances on the Middle School lawn during lunches. Visual arts students are displaying their work outside the High School Office. The festival will continue next week.

Executive Student Council election speeches were held today. Whatever the outcome, we are certain to have excellent student leadership next year. Good luck to all the candidates.

Have a wonderful long weekend, and stay safe!

Wellbeing Weekly Message

This week’s message: Positive Relationships
Watch and discuss this video with students.

What differences do they notice between the responses of the green and blue characters in trying to console the purple one?
If you would like to share any activities or comments from this reflection, please email wellbeingreflections@cacegypt.org.

Wishing you a happy day,
PreK-12 Wellbeing Committee

Student Physical Requests for 2021/22

Dear Parents,

If your student will be entering grades 3,6 or 9 next school year, we ask that he/she is seen and examined by a doctor, and a physical form completed and sent to the health office on or before the first day of school in August.
We are more than happy to accept early completed physicals as of now, either by email or hand-delivered to security at the front gate.
