Highro Glyphics Newsletter Week of October 28, 2021

CAC High School Principal’s Notes

It was wonderful to see parents on campus on Monday for the face-to-face conferences. And, although I could not see you, I also know that many parents were online on Tuesday for more conferencing with teachers. We hope that the experience of the conferences was successful for you. In order for us to know if we are doing a good job of meeting your needs and expectations, please take a few moments to complete this survey about the conferences. Your feedback will help us grow and improve in this area next time.

This week, Halloween festivities have been in the air and we have enjoyed seeing the younger students in our community all dressed up in costumes. Next week it is the turn of the high school students as our PTO and Student Council are collaborating to host a Halloween Fest costume competition on Sunday. Also this week, we were proud to see our Grade 9 Stuco members promoting breast cancer awareness and support for the Baheya Foundation, a charity hospital for women with breast cancer, through fundraising and encouraging the community to wear pink for the day. Well done to them!

Please mark your diaries with the upcoming PTO open meeting on Sunday and the next Principal’s Coffee which is happening on November 10. See below for some more important events coming up in the next month or so.

AIM Survey

CAC have engaged with the National Association of Independent Schools to use their Assessment of Inclusivity and Multi-culturalism to gauge and improve the inclusiveness of our school community for all members.

A component of that process is an anonymous survey, designed and tested by the NAIS, and administered by their organization to ensure security, anonymity, and confidentiality of the information that each respondent shares.

We are asking you to take 15-20 minutes out of your busy schedule to complete this survey by Tuesday, November 2, 2021. You can access the survey by clicking on one of the following links:

1. English Survey
2. Arabic Survey

Below are a few other things to keep in mind as you progress through the survey:

1. The survey can be completed on a laptop, desktop, tablet or smartphone device.
2. You must complete all of the required questions in order to advance through the evaluation. Required questions are marked with a red asterisk.
3. As you move from page to page in the evaluation, please use the Back and Next buttons at the bottom of each survey page.
4. The system will record your response as you advance through the questions. You can leave the survey at any time, and return later to resume your response. Simply click Save and Resume Later.

The system will generate a URL for you to use in returning to the point where you left off and continuing your entry. You can choose to copy that URL and save it, or to have the system e-mail the URL to you.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this very important assignment.

Sincerely,

DEI Design Team
